BoginaBag is a unique portable travel toilet developed by UK entrepreneur Kate Castle in 2008 as a lightweight, hygienic alternative, to chemical toilets. It took two years to get Kate’s idea to market; however, BoginaBag received a major boost in 2011 when Kate appeared on BBC TV’s Dragon’s Den and secured the backing of UK retail magnet Theo Paphitis. As well as investing in BoginaBag, Theo has worked with Kate to develop the product and bring it to the international market.
It will be a great relief to Australians everywhere that with the launch of BoginaBag Australia, BoginaBag is now available down under. We all need to use a convenience now and again, and in a country as big as ours it’s not always convenient! When you're out bushwalking it can be a long way to the nearest dunny and when you’re camping, lets face it, composting toilets aren't as fragrant as they could be.
Using the same technology for absorbing liquid and hygienic disposal as a baby’s nappy, BoginaBag is the answer. It's portable, convenient, clean, and good for the environment; and when it’s not a convenience you can still use it as a convenient stool to take the weight off.
Whether you’re on a camping holiday, bushwalking, on a family road trip, a tradie on a building site, a backpacker in a camper van, a truckie on a long-distance run, a boatie out on the bay, you’re off to a music festival; in fact if you’re anybody that’s out and about in our great country you can enjoy the convenience and relief of BoginaBag.
